London to Sialkot Flights to be Launched by PIA
According to an official source of PIA, the airline will initiate London to Sialkot to London flight from 10th September of this year. This service will provide direct access to Sialkot form Heathrow London and easy access to nearby places like Gujrat, Mirpur Azad Kashmir and Jhelum.
According to Siraj Qazi, PIA’s country manager in United Kingdom, the flight will be once a week i.e., it will take off from Sialkot to London on Tuesday and from London to Sialkot on Wednesday.
The flight will provide convenience to all related people; however, it will be of more significant of Sikh travelers who are planning to come to Pakistan on the 550th birthday of Baba Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Sikh pilgrims are likely to take this route because the Kartarpur Gurduwara is in the 100 KM proximity of Sialkot.

Mr. Qazi has said further said that the flights will be operated by the aircrafts under the special decoration according to new international route operation. He said that the service has been initiated after a lot of feedback and consultation form the customer and the he is hopeful that the flight will help in promoting tourism between the region as well.
