Sindh Launches New Routes of Electric Bus in Karachi

The government of Sindh has announced the expansion of the electric bus service in Karachi. The Information Minister, Sharjeel Inam Memon, held a press conference to announce that the People's Bus Service will now add three new routes. The new routes will be serviced by Eco-friendly electric buses which have recently arrived in Karachi.

The first of the new routes will run from Tower to Quaidabad, with the second route transporting passengers from the Al-Asif market to Tank Chowk (Malir). Furthermore, on April 13, a third new route from Baharia Town to Numaish Chowrangi via Tank Chowk will be introduced.

Before that, the government launched the first electric bus route in January of this year, which runs from Karachi Airport to Seaview.

This addition of the three new routes will provide greater accessibility and convenience to the residents of Karachi. The government is committed to further expanding the service and plans to introduce more electric buses soon.
